Young Nigerians under the canopy of Bello Ambassadors Network (BAN) have joined millions of well-wishers to celebrate the governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello as he turns 46 years Friday.
In a statement of felicitation issued earlier today, signed by its National Coordinator, Hon. Anthony Edogbo, the body noted that the governor remains the leader they all look after and emulate, adding that his religious and ethnic tolerance remained his greatest strength.
The body which has its membership cut across all nooks and crannies of Nigeria with offices across most states disclosed that they would keep pressing on the governor to declare his interest in the 2023 presidency.
The statement reads:
“In the last 6 years, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has dedicated his life to the tenets of progressive politics and good governance through a unique approach, “New Direction”, with unwavering commitment, focus, and dedication.
“Governor Yahaya Bello has shown huge patriotism to the Nigerian cause, through doggedness and tireless efforts to keep Kogi state united, safe and best for all her people; he has demonstrated this at the national level as well.
“The leadership examples and legacies set by Governor Yahaya Bello in Kogi have provided a path for young and emerging leaders to grow and contribute to national development.
“As young Nigerians who hope for a greener and more united nation, you remain a role model to us and we remain very proud of you.
“We shall continue to call on you to take the mantle of leadership of Nigeria.
“Your greatest strength lies in your ability to look beyond religious, ethnic, and political stereotyping, embracing the reality of Nigeria as one entity.
“You are the true definition of the “Leader of our Dreams”.
“This is wishing our own, Nigeria’s youngest Governor a happy birthday.”
