Three bite the dust as 22-year-elderly person supposedly harms four stepchildren in Yobe
The Yobe Police Command has captured a 22-year-elderly person, Khadija Yakubu, for supposedly harming and killing three of her stepchildren in Malaria Huta people group, Potiskum Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP Dungus Abdulkareem, in an assertion on Friday said that the suspect harmed the tea drank by four offspring of her significant other’s first spouse.
The casualties were distinguished as Umar Haruna, 12; Maryam Haruna, 11; Ahmed Haruna, nine and seven-year-old Zainab Haruna.
“Discoveries showed that the youngsters were raced to an emergency clinic in the wake of taking the tea arranged by the suspect, Khadija Yakubu, in the early long stretches of Friday. Three of the casualties kicked the bucket while getting treatment and one stayed oblivious.
“The suspect has been secured and is in authority. Examination has started to find out the remote and prompt reason for the episode. She will be charged after examination,” Abdulkareem expressed.
