JACOB EMMANUEL MCJJ
There is nothing more to leadership greater than justifying a mandate through qualitative service delivery. Importantly, when the people submit to the will and dictate of any leader accountability and fairness is expected in-return.
It will be a catastrophic disservice to the motherland if we fail to appreciate the positive inputs of some of our leaders and re-directing the barrel of those misfiring. Ideally, we are duty bound irrespective of political affinity or ethnic leaning to expose injustice/falsehood and promote justice/truth. In doing this,we are encouraging them to do more and others to sit-up.
Based on the above indices,I felt compelled by duty and service to the motherland to appreciate the member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Hon. Muhammadu Lawal Idrisu for his ongoing non selective car empowerment and to motivate him to do more.
It is on record that this sort of empowerment is the first of it’s kind since the creation of Ajaokuta Local Government. We are not where we envisioned our local government to be at this stage of our history, but Looking backwards, one can say there has been a positive paradigm shift from all known norms since his re-election. This is a win-win outcome for the people and the law Maker. Indeed a precedent has been set for others to learn and follow suit.
The Hon.Member is giving meaning to the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson when he said “Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” The trail of the Hon.Member is becoming clearer.
His steady romance with the grassroot is impactful. Individuals are becoming car owners through his “people driven empowerment”. Plus and minus, leadership is about directly influencing the lives of others. After painstakingly observing the mundus operandi of the Hon.Member, I have come to a conclusion that he deserves our praises and unflinching patronage.
The future is pregnant and we can only be optimistic that it gave rise to our desired dreams.
