PDP Chieftains, Others Defect To APC In Dekina As Onogwu Galacticus Rehabilitates Community Roads

A larger portion of the membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and several other political parties in the Dekina local government have defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the wake of road rehabilitation sponsored by Hon. Onogwu Galacticus, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

The decamping ceremony was a part of the reception of the CPS to his home as he inspects the ongoing rehabilitation of the Abocho – Ajonoja road.

There was an unusual crowd at the event which took place earlier today in Dekina.

Community leaders, women, men, young and old were seen in rare jubilation mode as the massive crowd welcome their son for bringing dividends of democracy to their doorstep.

Masquerades and several cultural groups were not left out in the celebration and reception of the CPS.

The road construction sponsored by Hon. Onogwu cuts across 7 communities and villages in Dekina and it’s of significant economic importance to the people of the zone.
