Headteacher’s five children among group kidnapped in Nigeria

After some were kidnapped on Sunday in Tegina, Nigeria, The head of the Islamic school revealed that 136 students including his five children where also kidnapped.

Since the attack took place, it has been discovered that three of the teachers are also missing.

Abubakar Alhassan revealed that during his communication with the kidnappers, he was told that the children are well fed and in good condition.

He revealed that a headcount has been carried out in the school to know the number of the missing student.
It was reported that security agencies have been ordered by Muhammadu Buhari to make the rescue faster.

Beri town and a nearby village were raided by armed gangs on Monday in a violent attack.

Residents told the BBC that the gunmen arrived on motorcycles and started shooting indiscriminately, causing a stampede.

A policeman was killed and the police station was burnt down in the town.

A lot of people were kidnapped and the number is yet to be determined.

Five of the attackers were killed by Local vigilantes who reportedly confronted the bandits.
