It has been two years of breathtaking performance by Distinguished Sen Isah Jibrin (Echocho). This two years commemoration has afforded us the opportunity to summarily highlight the numerous gains of his representation in unique areas of service delivery and to renew his commitment for the next two years.


To boost agricultural activities for food sufficiency in Kogi East, Sen Isah Jibrin, distributed, modern farming implements and follow-up with Tractors to all the nine local government in his senatorial district.


To conquer worrying unemployment challenges, the Lawmaker facilitated entrepreneurship training programmes on SMEs, across the three federal constituencies in Kogi East.


Within two years, several Transformers has been mounted and rural electrification has taken place in countless locations in Kogi East. He moved a motion for urgent completion of abadoned Abadigba power project to help-out regular power supply in Kogi East. After moving the motion, he is seriously engaging relevant stakeholders for the realization of the mega project.


Sen Isah Jibrin, has built and renovated several primary schools in remote communities. He recently sent research materials to all the Tertiary Institutions in Kogi East, to encourage and enhance research method. He sponsored a bill for the upgrade of COE Ankpa to Federal University of Education Ankpa, the technical process is ongoing at the National Assembly. He has supported students in Higher institution of learning with various forms of scholarships to enable them focus on their studies. Registration of Jamb and SSCE for ambitious students who couldn’t afford them. THIS HE HAS BEEN DOING WITHOUT CAMERA’s ATTENTION.


Sen Isah Jibrin, unwavering commitment of his representation to salvaging healthcare system is applaudable. He distributed Hospital equipments to all the local government in Idah and Dekina/Bassa federal constituencies, to rescue primary healthcare from total decadence in the areas. In his quest for standard healthcare facilities, he sponsored a Bill for the establishment of Orthopedic Hospital in Dekina to complement the University teaching Hospital Anyigba. The bill has reached a stage for public hearing in few weeks.


The Senator in 2019, moved a motion at the red chamber for NEMA to rescue motorists and commuters plying Ajaokuta Itobe federal highway, by way of providing palliative measures to that portion of the Road. The Senate of the Federal republic immediately sent delegation to federal ministry of works and National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). Satisfactorily, Ajaokuta-Itobe Road is now in motorable condition. Thanks to selfless and proactive steps taking by Distinguished Sen Isah Jibrin (Echocho).


The Senator as an investment Banker and development Economist, has always engaged his colleagues both in plenary and committee level on how to revive numerous moribund governments facilities across the country. He stated in his submissions that if the federal government can reawaken several abadoned companies to address the unemployment saga, he said youths roaming the streets, if properly engaged will not indulge in social vises. It was in the light of this that Sen Isah Jibrin step-up to revamped both Acharu Palm Oil Mill and Kogi state University bakery to improve revenue generation and create opportunity for employment of youth/women in the state.
The Senator in the year under review, facilitated many empowerment for youth and women with cash donations to enable them thrive in their choice of bussineses. No local government was left out of these programmes.


The Senator has facilitated, Solar-powered motorized Boreholes, across his Senatorial district of Kogi East, to enable his Constituents have access to clean water, instead of trecking kilometres to fetch unclean water.


The Senator through his legislative intervetion in 2020, in a motion before the Senate called on Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs & Disaster Management and other relevant organizations to provide aid for the displaced persons and communities in Bassa local government in Kogi state. Given the Senator’s follow up, attention was given immediately, relief materials was provided in large quantity. The people had since been reunited back to their respective villages.

He recently moved similar motion for urgent intervetion for the people of Olamaboro local government that were displaced by Rainstorm. Assistance will be provided soon.


The Senator distributes motorcycles to his Constituents to ease their movement and transportation of their farm produce.


Ongoing construction of zonal Police office in Anyigba, with modern facilities to restore security situation in Kogi East.


The Lawmaker, has always come through for his people especially during festive seasons and covid-19 lockdown. He distributed unimaginable food items on different occasions to alleviate the hard time occasioned by coronavirus.



Distinguished Sen Isah Jibrin (Echocho), has brought respect, finesse, class, brilliance and private-sector experience to legislations. He has performed tremendously in sponsoring people oriented bills, moved impactful motions and contributed intelligently to significant national issues, a paradigm shift from what we had in the district before. ECHOCHO HAS RETURNED CLASS, DIGNITY AND HONOR TO KOGI EAST.


This year, the Senator has inserted into national budget, construction of Ajagwumu, Odu, Alokoli, Okete Road. Work will soon commence in that locations.

Construction of Cashew processing plant in Ofagolo in Ofu LGA for maximum profits for cashew Farmers.

Construction of Rice Mill in Ibaji to encourage diversification of Nigeria economy and to improve supply chain in food market.

Plan completion of abadoned government secondary school in Bassa local government

Construction of primary schools across the local government in Kogi East.

Supplying of instructural materials (Text & Exercise books), to all the UBEs and Senior Secondary Schools in Kogi East.

The Senator is making effort to inpute Aquaculture center at Idah into the supplementary budget. He has been engaging NABDA officials, regarding the center.

There will be massive youth/women empowerment this year usually across the three federal constituencies.

Many Solar will be erected across our streets and market places in Kogi East.

The Lawmaker, is seriously following up on Dekina, Anyigba-Shintaku Road.

Renovation of Dekina general Hospital.

Building of skills Acquisitions center in Anyigba, for skills development.

Donation of transformers.

Provision of medical equipments to primary healthcares, across the district.

Distribution of lamptops to schools in Kogi East. Etc.

It should be noted that the Senator, in the years under review has facilitated employment opportunities for the teeming youths from MDAs.

Payment of hospital bills and personal financial intervetions for youths with genuine entrepreneurship idea.

The Senator has bought and donated many vehicles, behind the scene. MAY ALLAH REWARD HIM KINDLY.

Sen Isah Jibrin, during Senate valedictory session to mark their two years in office on Wednesday, callled on the federal government to provide legal backing to NATFORCE in order to close the obvious gap in the country’s security architectures.

The Senator appreciate the unalloyed support of his Constituents for their continuous patience in the face of difficult economic quarkmire bedeviling the Nation. He assures his supporters of enhance service delivery given his records breaking achievements in two years.

Echocho use the occasion to thank Governor Yahaya Bello, for his numerous achievements for the state, especially in the area of security of life and properties, stressing that his achievements within two years was made possible because the Governor created enabling environment for it.
