
In a somber moment, Elder David Adaga, the chairman of the Great Club of Emudu in Abuja, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the grieving family of Mr. Eleojo Ruben. The shocking news of Eleojo’s untimely demise was conveyed by his elder brother, Mr. Daniel Ruben, late in the evening on July 19, 2023.
Elder Adaga, speaking through his spokesperson in Abuja on Wednesday, also expressed his condolences to the members of the Emodu Ogane Youths Association, Lagos branch, and The Dons Club of Lagos. Eleojo Ruben had been a dedicated and bona fide member of these organizations until his unfortunate passing.
In his message of condolence, Elder Adaga acknowledged that death, as a part of life, is an inevitable occurrence. He emphasized how deeply disheartening it is for a family and community to lose a young member to the cold clutches of death. He offered prayers, beseeching God to grant the bereaved family the strength and resilience to bear this irreplaceable loss.
The widely respected chairman also underscored the importance of establishing a strong relationship with God, especially in the face of such uncontrollable events as death. He encouraged everyone, particularly young people, not to forsake the gathering and associations of their communities, regardless of the city or country they reside in.
Elder Adaga called upon all sons and daughters of Emodu, scattered across the world, to maintain a spirit of prayer and steadfastness in their service to God. He reminded them that these are challenging times, cautioning against making materialism the sole focus of life, as life itself is fleeting and transitory.
In a final tribute to Eleojo Ruben, Elder Adaga prayed that God may grant him eternal rest. He described Eleojo as a humble and tranquil son of the Emodu Ogugu community, whose presence will be greatly missed.
Eleojo who survived by two sons, passed away following a period of illness. Condolences have continued to pour in from loved ones and sons and daughters of Emodu community.
