
The Police commissioner in Kogi State, Onuoha Bethrand has called on newly promoted officers to see their elevation as a call to duty.
CP Bethrand made the call while decorating over one hundred officers with their new ranks in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State.
The Police commissioner urged them to see their promotion as a reward for hard work and also a challenge to do more.

INEC resident commissioner in Kogi State, Gabriel Harley Longpet and the chief judge of the State, Justice Josiah Majebi congratulated the officers on their promotion and urged them to be committed to their duties, especially in the coming governorship election in the State.
A total of 168 police inspectors were promoted and Decorated with the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) While 153 Assistant Superintendent of Police Officers were elevated to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police 1.
