Governor Bello honours Fmr. Sen. Attai Aidoko, late father

The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, on Saturday, attended the funeral of Late Chief Ali Okwoli, father of former Kogi East senator Attai Aidoko in a visit described as a display of honor.

The burial took place in Ugbamaka Igah, Olamaboro Local Government Area.

Governor Bello praised Chief Okwoli’s fulfilling life and urged people to follow his example of unity for progress. He emphasized the importance of unity among tribes in Kogi to utilize the state’s resources for its people.

The Governor assured that his leadership would protect Kogi’s resources from exploitation. He highlighted the family’s unity and legacy of embracing culture and modern religion.

Former Senator Attai Aidoko thanked Governor Bello for honoring his father and the Olamaboro community. He saw the event’s attendees as a testament to his father’s wealth of character.

The Kogi State All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate’s representatives, Joel Oyibo, who is the running mate, extended condolences and praised Governor Bello’s support for the Igala nation.

The Ejeh of Olamaboro expressed gratitude for the governor’s historic visit to celebrate Chief Okwoli’s influential life. He recognized Chief Okwoli’s irreplaceable contribution to the region and the state.
