Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello, received a heartfelt appreciation from Hajia Shaibu Audu, wife of the newly appointed Minister of Steel Development, Shaibu Abubakar Audu. The visit took place on Thursday, as Hajia Shaibu Audu, accompanied by her husband, expressed gratitude for the governor’s unwavering support in facilitating her husband’s nomination and his pivotal role in his political journey.
This was disclosed in a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Onogwu Mohammed on Thursday.
Hajia Shaibu Audu, praising Governor Bello’s influence, according to the statement, shared her elation upon learning of her husband’s designation as minister while she was abroad. She proudly noted the governor’s presence during the National Assembly screening process. Her words painted a picture of a man, Shaibu Abubakar Audu, dedicated to excellence and remarkable achievements, poised to bring pride to the state and nation through his service.

The Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shaibu Abubakar Audu, along with other nominees, had undergone a rigorous screening process by the National Assembly earlier this month, eventually leading to his appointment by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
