Omala APC Stakeholders Converge, Devise Winning Strategies for Ododo

Key figures within the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Omala Local Government convened under the leadership of Hon. Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh, the Executive Chairman of the region.

In a meeting characterized by strategic deliberations, the group underscored the importance of actively engaging with the community to secure their support in the upcoming elections.

Emphasizing their unwavering allegiance to the APC, the stakeholders, driven by their commitment to the welfare of their homeland, pledged their unequivocal support for Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and Comrade Joel Oyibo as the party’s candidates for the roles of Governor and Deputy Governor respectively in the forthcoming November elections in Kogi State.

Addressing the assembly, the Council Chairman urged all present stakeholders to participate wholeheartedly in a door-to-door campaign. He acknowledged that while the current roster of stakeholders is substantial, he encouraged further expansion of membership in preparation for future engagement with additional groups of stakeholders, party loyalists, and associations to ensure resounding victory.

Hon. Umar Yahaya, the House of Assembly representative for Omala State Constituency, lauded the Executive Chairman’s unifying efforts within the APC, urging everyone to rally behind his leadership to secure a decisive win for the Ododo/Joel ticket.

Prominent figures including Vice Chairman Hon. Mrs. Ele-Ojo Faruna, Secretary to the local government Mrs. Joy Odaudu, Technical Adviser to Kogi State Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Hon. Arome Alfa, Chairman of the Elder Advisory Council Mallam Suleiman Husseini, Permanent Board Member of the Kogi State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board Hon. Adofu Steve, and Secretary of the Kogi State Broadcasting Commission Mallam Suleiman Ibrahim also participated in the meeting.

The gathering encompassed a diverse array of stakeholders, including Hon. Matthew Ochada (SSA to the Governor on Youth Empowerment, Kogi East), House Speaker and Majority Leader of Omala Legislative Council, leaders of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) and the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), the Education Secretary.

Others include former Youth Leader Hon. Mark Edibo Ameh, Chairman of Kogi State Persons with Special Needs Hon. Arome Ibrahim, and Former House of Assembly Aspirant Hon. Apaila Joel, among others. Although some critical stakeholders were unavoidably absent, the unified spirit of the assembly remained unwavering.
