20 young entrepreneurs with 10 leaders have been selected as beneficiaries of the maiden edition of GYBCEDO EbIGo Foundation empowerment initiative.

The group leaders who converged on Lokoja the state capital yesterday, had a brief meeting with the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja, who welcomed the beneficiaries and educated them on business and life principles.

Onoja who charged the young businessmen to make a good deal out of the training and empowerment, said the foundation was designed to imbibe the spirit of one Kogi as it featured people from Kogi East, Central and West.

He also said that true wealth is in the business world and not white collar jobs sought after, even though its not a bad idea.

Addressing the beneficiaries, the Chairman of Borad of Trustees of the foundation, Pharmacy Alexander Onoja, said that the initiative is a rare one and that the beneficiaries should utilize the opportunity judiciously.

The training of the beneficiaries which is slated to commence today will be taking place at the conference hall of office of the deputy governor, government house, Lokoja.

The businesses are expected to take off on the 1st of March 2021.
